Deployment Workbench
GUI console quản lý MDT: OS, apps, drivers, task sequences.
Deployment Share
UNC path (\\MDTServer\DeploymentShare$) chứa tất cả files.
Task Sequences
Chuỗi tác vụ tự động: format, install OS, apps, join domain.

Lab thực chiến
Cài MDT, tạo Deployment Share, Task Sequence, boot image
Lab A — MDT Install + Setup
Thực hành tại: Windows Server 2019/2022 (VM hoặc physical)
- Cài MDT 8456 + Windows ADK (download từ microsoft.com)
- Mở Deployment Workbench → right-click Deployment Shares → New Deployment Share
- Path:
C:\DeploymentShare, Share:DeploymentShare$ - Import Windows 11 OS: Operating Systems → Import OS → browse to ISO/WIM
- Add Application: Applications → New Application → e.g. 7-zip (silent install)
- Create Task Sequence: Task Sequences → New Task Sequence → Standard Client Task Sequence

Deployment Share tạo thành công với cấu trúc: Boot, Control, Operating Systems, Applications, Packages, Scripts.
Lab B — Boot Image + PXE Boot
- Right-click Deployment Share → Update Deployment Share → chờ tạo Boot.wim (~5 phút)
- Copy Boot.wim vào WDS: WDS Console → Boot Images → Add Boot Image
- Test machine: bật máy → F12 (PXE) → chọn Windows Deployment Services

Máy khởi động WinPE qua mạng, hiển thị MDT Deployment Wizard. Chọn Task Sequence → OS cài tự động.
