1.3 User State Migration Tool (USMT)
USMT gồm 2 tools: ScanState (capture data trước wipe) và LoadState (restore data sau cài OS). Capture: user profile, desktop, favorites, app settings.

Lab thực chiến
Import OS image, tạo Task Sequence upgrade, PXE boot
Lab A — Import OS Image vào SCCM
- Mở Configuration Manager Console → Software Library
- Operating System Images → ribbon Add Operating System Image
- Browse to .wim file trên distribution point → Next → Next → Close
- Right-click image → Distribute Content → chọn Distribution Points
OS image hiển trong console với status Distributed. Sẵn sàng dùng trong Task Sequence.
Lab B — Task Sequence for In-Place Upgrade
- Task Sequences → Create Task Sequence → Upgrade an OS from upgrade package
- Chọn Windows 11 Upgrade Package → Next
- Thêm post-upgrade steps: Install Applications, Run Command Line
- Tab Deployments → Deploy → collection "Windows 10 Machines"
- Monitor: Monitoring → Deployments → chọn Task Sequence
Deployment status hiển thị: Compliant/Non-compliant/Error. Devices tự động chạy upgrade trong Software Center.
Lab C — PXE Boot từ SCCM DP
- DP Properties → tab PXE → check Enable PXE support for clients
- Check Allow this DP to respond to incoming PXE requests
- Test machine: bật máy → F12 → Network boot → Windows Deployment Wizard hiển ra
Máy chạy unattended OS deployment qua mạng. Không cần USB. Monitor trong SCCM Monitoring → Deployments.
